Amanda Murphy

Partner and Attorney at Goldblatt + Singer

For nearly two decades, Amanda Murphy has built her career around one mission: standing up for people whose lives were changed by someone else’s negligence. She stepped into personal injury work early—clerking for a respected litigation firm while still in law school—and joined Goldblatt + Singer immediately after graduating. Today, as a Partner, she is one of the firm’s most accomplished trial lawyers and a trusted advocate for clients facing some of the most devastating moments of their lives.

A lifelong St. Louisan raised in North County, Amanda understands firsthand how quickly tragedy can change a family’s trajectory. That perspective drives her commitment to helping injury victims throughout the region navigate overwhelming circumstances with clarity, compassion, and strength. She has spent her entire legal career ensuring her clients’ stories are heard and their rights fiercely protected.

Amanda leads the firm’s Complex Litigation and Serious Truck Crash Litigation groups, previously guiding Goldblatt + Singer’s Tort Victim Compensation Fund work. She has played a central role in many of the firm’s most significant results, including securing the largest settlement in G+S history. Her verdicts and settlements have been recognized repeatedly by Missouri Lawyers Weekly, with her cases appearing among the top results statewide in multiple years.

Her leadership extends beyond the courtroom. Amanda has served on boards for both the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis. She maintains active involvement in professional organizations central to her practice, including the American Association for Justice, the AAJ Trucking Litigation Group, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys. Since 2017, she has been named to Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers each year.

As one of the prominent faces of the firm (featured on billboards alongside Managing Partner Jeff Singer), Amanda has become a recognizable resource for injured people seeking someone they can trust. She believes strong advocacy starts with connection, communication, and the courage to pursue accountability, no matter how complex the case.

Outside the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her daughter – whether they’re doing arts and crafts together, exploring St. Louis, or making summer trips to the Lake of the Ozarks. She’s also an avid reader, drawn to both science-based nonfiction and sci-fi stories that feed her curiosity and give her space to recharge.
